 On holidays in Icmeler there is always time to enjoy the beaches, for families with small children there are 3 blue flag beaches in the area to choose from. Icmeler holidays offer plenty of opportunities to try out water sports, and there is also excellent scuba diving in the wonderful Mediterranean Sea and a PADI diving school in Icmeler. Other popular beaches to visit are the amazing Iztuzu Beach or the beautiful spot of Olu Deniz. If you want to see the wonderful scenery and enjoy the great outdoors then there is one of the top 10 most beautiful walks in the world on the 500km Lycian Way walk. For something a little more active then head down to the Dalaman River where you can try, with professional instruction of course, White Water Rafting and canoe trips. If shopping is more your thing then holidays to Icmeler are just up your street. There is the local shopping mall, a weekly market and in the busy nearby resort of Marmaris, just 8km away, there is a huge flea market inside the grounds of the Ottoman Castle, with hundreds of stalls from which you can find all manner of goods. Icmeler has a varied nightlife, there are many bars and restaurants that are full of entertainment and open until the early hours, but for a more lively night out then make the short journey to nearby Marmaris.
